Become a Member During Spanish Moss September

You might have noticed a lot of emails and activity on our Facebook page recently…
That is because have launched our BIGGEST membership drive to date!

That’s right, we hope to recruit 400 new members in the month of September! But we need YOUR help to do this.
Help us spread the word and participate in one of the events:

1. T.E.L.L. It In 30: Trace Each Louisiana Love — We have thrown down the gauntlet and are challenging each and every one of you to T.E.L.L. It in 30! Record a 30 second video letting the world know why you love Louisiana or donate $30 to Louisiana. Send your videos to info@landtrustforlouisiana.org or post them our your Facebook page with #Landtrustforlouisiana. Don’t forget to challenge THREE of your friends! We will post the best ten videos on our website! Need some inspiration?

Check out this video from our Development Director

2. Sign the Tree! — We would not be the land trust we are today without the help and support of our local businesses. To thank them, we asked a few to put up bald cypress tree and start a friendly competition to see who can recruit the most members. So head on out to the following establishments and sign up to be a member! The business that recruits the most members will win a prize! We know it’s a sacrifice, but it’s for the public good. So grab some vegetarian dishes, perhaps a little BBQ to even it out, or some amazing wine and farm-to-table entrees, stock up on your black & gold attire or vinyl record bracelets, or end the day with a growler or two for the fridge!

All of this AND you can sign up to help protect the land you love with a Spanish Moss Membership.
