Paddling for Preservation — Sunday, October 9, 2016
Land Trust for Louisiana and Canoe & Trail Adventures will co-host our Annual “Paddling for Preservation” Canoe/Kayak Trip. Treat yourself to a day of relaxation, plus help save of bit of Louisiana, as we float down the beautiful Bogue Falaya River on the Northshore!

Fall 2016 Prices:
- $40 per paddler
- A $10 discount per paddler given to those providing their own canoe or kayak
- Child passengers can be added to the rental canoes for just $5.
(Child passenger must be accompanied by two paddlers)
All participants will be required to sign Canoe and Trail Adventures liability waiver before paddling. Once registered, the launching location in Covington, driving directions and waiver link will be sent with the confirmation email.
The trip follows a meandering course, numerous white sand bars, heavily forested banks and modest currents! We will meet for the launch at 10 am and then return to the same location about mid-afternoon. Please bring a bag lunch and cold drink to have for lunch along the way! Speakers will join us to point out and describe the flora and fauna. We are exploring a new river this year as we paddle and float on the Bogue Falaya River!
