Get your kayaks, canoes and paddle boards ready!!

Treat yourself to a day of relaxation, plus help save a bit of Louisiana, as we float and paddle on the beautiful Tangipahoa River on the Northshore!  Land Trust for Louisiana and Canoe and Trail Adventures will once again co-host this exciting canoe, kayak and paddle board adventure!  Float and paddle while feeling good knowing you are helping preserve natural lands and waterways of Louisiana!

The paddle follows a meandering course, white sand bars, heavily forested banks and modest currents!  There will be speakers to provide information and answer questions about the habitat and fauna we will see as we float along the river, as well as, information about the Land Trust for Louisiana and our mission.

2017 Justin Addison Memorial Conservation Cup – November 5th

Land Trust for Louisiana is holding its annual Fundraiser Sunday, November 5, 2017 from 11:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Due to a major downpour, the evening before the scheduled date back in May, that flooded the field on which guests would park their cars, we have rescheduled.

We’d love to have you be a sponsordonate to the Silent Auction, or register individually and join us to enjoy some good food and drink while watching a polo match. Doing so will support our conservation efforts.  We also need volunteers!

It is a family day and will have Pony Rides and childcare with children’s activities so bring your children!  10 and under are free!!

We will also have our Annual Meeting to announce LTL’s accomplishments for the year and present an award to our Outstanding Member of the Year 2017!
